Going to the beach with your friends is such a different experience compared to going to the beach with your children.
For example, when I take my seven year old twin girls to the beach I need to think about what they need. Items such as suncream, after sun, towels for them as well as myself, swimming costumes for all of us, a change of clothes and underwear, then there’s things like a bucket and spade, beach ball, snacks, drinks, perhaps even a packed lunch, and of course some change for an ice cream. There’s so much to think about it!
It actually makes packing for a trip to the beach with my girlfriends a breeze! A beach trip with my friends means I can actually wear nice clothes and a nice swimsuit without having to worry about getting covered in suncream or sticky ice cream fingers!
I always bring a nice beach bag with me to the beach. One with no zips or fastenings. I find this makes it easier for me to just get things out and put things away quickly.
Here’s what I pack in order to have the perfect girls trip to the beach:
- Colourful beach bag
- Fashionable, yet comfortable swimsuit
- Glamorous sun hat
- Sarong
- Bright, colourful beach towel
- Shorts to cover up with
- Cute coin purse
- A dress which is easy to throw on
- Funky gold sandals

I always find it handy to have a cute coin purse with me. It saves me from having to fish around in my bag for any loose change and makes it easier to access my coins!
I also love a good sun hat to protect my scalp from the sun, keep the sun out of my eyes and I also think they always look so glamorous!
I also find having a bright and colourful beach towel is a good idea as it makes it easy to find your spot when returning from a dip in the sea!
