An unexpected holiday

This year my husband and I hadn’t planned on going on holiday because we were hoping to buy a house. Unfortunately we were dealt a bit of a blow this week in that our current landlord will be selling our home so we’re now having to move home. Luckily we have found another home not far from where we are at the moment so we’re still within the catchment area for our girls school.

As a result we now need something to look forward to so we have decided that we will be going on holiday this year. Most likely abroad, probably Spain. We went to Menorca last year and also when our girls were 18 months old, and it was lovely. The short haul flight went quickly and our twins enjoyed the aeroplane journey.

When looking for a holiday I like to make sure that the holiday companies have good reviews. It’s important to me so that I know a company is reputable and reliable. One such holiday company that I’ve seen that have good reviews is sunshine.co.uk.

They have destinations such as Turkey, Majorca, Tenerife and more. To be honest as long as the weather is warm, sunny and dry we’ll be happy! Providing there’s a beach nearby too! It’s amazing how a bit of sand and the sea can keep toddlers entertained for hours!

We’d probably go somewhere short haul again this year and I think we’re really going to have to make the most of it because next year when our girls are in full time school, we’ll only be able to go on holiday during half term. Luckily this year with the girls being in pre-school we can go during term time so that’s a definite bonus!
