Back to School with Very Neko

The summer holiday has been somewhat of a blur up until now. We’ve had a lot going on! From moving house to starting new jobs and it’s only now that we’re finally starting to slow down and get back into some form of normality. With that said, we’re almost half way through August and that means the start of a new school term isn’t far away.
That’s why I’ve teamed up with Very Neko. Very Neko are an online shop selling branded clothing, collectibles and accessories inspired by the best of pop culture. Very Neko kindly gifted us one ‘Loungefly Disney Cats Backpack‘ priced at £49.99 and one ‘Loungefly Star Wars Ep 9 Nylon Sling Backpack‘, also priced at £49.99.
When it comes to choosing anything to do with the return to school I always think in terms of longevity. I don’t want to end up buying another drinks bottle or backpack within a few months. I like the girls essentials to last a good while.
The Loungefly Disney Cats Backpack is absolutely gorgeous. I’d quite happily pinch it and use it myself if my 9 year old didn’t notice! It may seem a little pricey at £49.99 but it is worth it. It’s durable and very well made. Plus I love how colourful it is!
The different Disney cats printed on the bag are adorable.
It really is a backpack that stands out! In addition to looking good, it’s also very practical for school. As well as one big main compartment which has a small zip inside, there’s also a good sized front pocket that’s also zipped. Perfect for snacks.
My daughter is 9 years old and absolutely love this backpack. It’s sits well on her small frame and is comfortable for her. It also has a handy ‘hook’ loop at the top so she can hang it up on her school peg with ease.
Next up is the Loungefly Star Wars Ep 9 Sling Backpack.
Again, this backpack is £49.99 and it’s another really good quality bag. My twins are completely different their tastes. That’s why my other daughter chose this Star Wars back. She loves the black and red colours and the ‘sling design’ of the strap.
The front of the bag has a zip pocket, which again is great for keeping snacks so they’re quickly and easily accessible.
The bag is durable and well made and again, my daughter said it’s really comfortable to wear.
The bag is the perfect size for school children.
Overall, we’re very happy with both of the backpacks received from Very Neko. Admittedly, they are more expensive than the backpacks I would normally buy my girls for school, but they are incredibly well made.
