Hello and welcome to the Brilliant Mum Feature. Once a week I will be featuring one mum in a bid to find out more about them and their lives.

This week our brilliant mum feature is Lindsay from Latte Lindsey.
Lindsay says she’s a very busy mum to four children. Her eldest is turning 16 and the youngest is only a month old. When she’s not running about after her husband and kids, she’s running her blog and working on her new book.

Have you always wanted to be a mum?
Nope! I had planned to move to Europe (first stop- Paris) but life has other plans for me. To this day, I still haven’t been to Paris.
How did you feel when your children were born?
I was ok. Although they were all surprises I have never regretted any of them. I found being pregnant very difficult so I was always happy once that part was over.
What have been your most rewarding experiences so far as a mum?
Knowing that I haven’t messed up too badly! Parenting is hard and you only get one shot at creating a fully functioning human being that can contribute to society. The fact that my children are kind and excel at what they do is amazing.
What are some of your funniest moments to have happened to you as a mum?
They all involve poop! I think my children like to troll me with their backsides!
Have there been any situations with your children that you have found difficult to cope with?
Medical stuff always gets me in a dizzy. I’m very lucky that my kids don’t have any health problems but when they get sick, I panic in case it is something serious.
What are your dreams and hopes for your children?
For them to be happy. I don’t care what choices they make (career, relationships, etc) as long as it makes them happy.
