Brilliant Mum Feature Week 37
Hello and welcome to the Brilliant Mum Feature. Once a week I will be featuring one mum in a bid to find out more about them and their lives.
If you’d like to take part in this series, simply fill in this form.

This week our brilliant mum feature is Melanie from Melanies Fab Finds.
Melanie has just turned 40, is married with three mini ones, loves to cook and play with the kids toys with them. Melanie is a blogger and full time mummy.
Thanks for taking part Melanie!
Have you always wanted to be a mum?
It wasn’t a life long dream but I did think I would at some stage, hubby was very keen though and would have more given the option but doesn’t consider financial constraints unfortunately.
How did you feel when your children were born?
The birth was traumatic. The epidural ran out half way through and they delayed giving me a top up for no valid reason. I was stitched up incorrectly and if a passing midwife hadn’t come in and noticed – well they do like to take a look, then I would have bleed to death. This was at Chase Farm and had happened to another lady there I heard after.

What have been your most rewarding experiences so far as a mum?
Seeing my children thriving in school although with home assistance. I love watching them play and interact they are so cute!
What are some of your funniest moments to have happened to you as a mum?
Wasn’t funny at the time but I got pooped on with my first daughter. I felt something warm running down me and realise – enough said there. They always do funny things. My little ones mispronounced words which has had me in stitches.

Have there been any situations with your children that you have found difficult to cope with?
The tiredness and loneliness when I had my first child was hard.
What are your dreams and hopes for your children?
To have happy, healthy lives.
