This week our brilliant mum feature is Rachel from Out and About Mummy.

Rachel is 32 years old and works part time for a bank, but says she loves her blog. Rachel has a 5 year old, and twins who are 2 She lives with her husband in Greater Manchester, and says that they love to be out and about, always busy and always outdoors. Rachel says she loves UK holidays, geocaching and days out with the kids!

Thanks for taking part Rachel!

Have you always wanted to be a mum?

Yes.

How did you feel when your children were born?

The biggest shock was finding out we were having twins! There’s no twins in the family that we know of, biggest shock ever, but has been the best thing ever.

What have been your most rewarding experiences so far as a mum?

Starting Out and About Mummy myself from scratch with 3 young children.

What are some of your funniest moments to have happened to you as a mum?

Just laughing in the hospital when they told us it was twins, me and my husband couldn’t stop crying. If we hadn’t laughed I think we may have cried!

Have there been any situations with your children that you have found difficult to cope with?

In the last year my eldest son who is 5, his behavior has changed I have found this hard to deal with. He’s a good boy, but since starting school and his twin brother and sister coming along, so of his behaviour changed. Its probably him growing up!

What are your dreams and hopes for your children?

To be happy and healthy! I think that’s all you can ever hope for for your children.
