Em J Crochet Launches its Shop! Plus win a pack of 5 100% Cotton Eco-Friendly Face Scrubbies!
Before I begin, you may have noticed that things have been a bit quiet on the blog. There are a number of reasons why.
Firstly, with no school, our twins have been home with us and I’ve been working from home so finding the time to blog has been difficult.
I’m sure, like many, you may have also found lock down a struggle. In the beginning it wasn’t so bad. We went on daily walks and bike rides, set time aside for home learning and the girls happily played in the garden while I worked from home. However, the novelty of only having mum, dad and one another soon wore off and before we knew it our family theme tune became ‘I’m bored’ and ‘what can we do?’ on a pretty constant daily basis.
Now that the girls are back in school and I have a few hours in the day to work and to do my own thing, I’ve managed to find a little time to set up Em J Crochet.

I’ve always been a creative person. I enjoy sewing and crafts of different varieties etc. During lock down, I decided to learn how to crochet, and I am addicted!
From scarves, toys, shawls, blankets, gloves, plant pot covers and more! As such I decided to launch a little side business called Em J Crochet where I’ll be selling some various bits and pieces, plus taking on commissions.
Competition
There’s also a competition running at the minute to win a pack of 5 100% cotton eco-friendly face scrubbies! Pop over to the Facebook here to enter!
So that’s where I’ve been! Now that the girls are back in school, I’ll be doing my best to find time to blog some more, and crochet of course!
How have you found lockdown? Did you learn anything new? Let me know in the comments below.
