I usually buy my glasses from the super market where I get my eyes tested or from an opticians.

This means I usually spend around £100 or more on glasses.

I’d heard of people buying their glasses online, but I was dubious about the quality so I’ve never actually bought my own online.

When GlassesShop.com asked me if I’d like to review their glasses I agreed and did so with an open mind!

I wear prescription glasses, so all I needed to order online was my prescription and my Pupillary Distance (PD).

PD is the horizontal distance between the centres of your pupils in millimetres. It is needed to ensure the centre of each lens is aligned with the centre of your pupils.

This is generally not included on your prescription, but it’s fairly easy to measure yourself with a ruler.

GlassesShop.com offer a range of glasses and sunglasses for men and women at very affordable prices.

I chose these Preoria Rectangle glasses in black.

I tend to go for rectangular shaped glasses as I find they suit my face best.

These glasses are available online for $19.99.

They arrived quickly and I was genuinely surprised by the quality.

They’re just as good, if not better, than the glasses that I usually pay £100 for.

They’re sturdy, they fit well and the prescription is spot on.

The design is modern, elegant and stylish. Plus they come with an anti-scratch coating, free protective case and microfiber cleaning cloth.
