Halfords host the Women’s First Motoring Workshop on 12th October

October 1, 2015

As parents we do everything in our power to ensure that our children are safe and well looked after. I think it’s fair to say that parents would do anything in order to protect their children, and the same is true even when they’re in our cars.

We spend hours and hours over a number of days, weeks, even months researching the best car seats and then making sure that they’re fitted correctly too, but child safety in the car extends further than just a car seat.

It’s so important to understand why a certain light has lit up on the dashboard or why your car doesn’t seem to be starting. Not knowing the answers can be very frustrating and I think it’s fair to say that we can all raise our hands and day we’d like more training in understanding our vehicles better.

Well, that’s where Halfords can help!

As per the title of this post, Halfords are hosting the Women’s First Motoring Workshop on 12th October.

The workshop will provide expert advice and guidance on looking after your car in 397 Halfords stores.

The workshop will go through a demonstration as well as giving you the chance to get your hands dirty and will include the following:

  • Checking your oil
  • Checking your wiper blades
  • Advice on checking your lights
  • Checking your screen wash (with a free top-up!)
  • Top tips on taking care of your car over winter

With Winter just around the corner this is the perfect time to find out more about your car. The workshop is being held on 12th October and it can be booked through the Halfords website.
