Haliborange Review

April 9, 2015
When my twins were around two and a half years old I started to think about giving vitamins. I take a daily vitamin supplement so I wondered whether my twins should too.
I did some research and found that from the age of three there are some things that they can take. The lovely people over at Halibrorange kindly sent me a bottle of their Mr Men Little Miss Omega-3 & Multivitamins and a bottle of their Baby & Toddler Multivitamin Liquid.

The Mr Men Little Miss Omega-3 & Multivitamins are like sweets. They’re orange softies which have a balanced multivitamin with Omega-3 in.
These softies help to provide everyday support. They include:
·         Flaxseed oil – A source of essential Omega-3 fatty acides
·         Vitamin A – Helps support healthy eyes
·         Vitamin B6 & B12 – Contribute to the release of energy from food
·         Vitamin B% – For normal mental performance
·         Vitamin C – Helps support the immune system
·         Vitamin D – Essential for normal growth and development of bones in children
·         Vitamin E – Contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress
Unfortunately neither of our girls liked these. I’m not sure if was the taste or the texture that they don’t like, but I did try them and I think they taste rather yummy! I’ll keep trying and hopefully in time they’ll get used to it!
The Baby and Toddler Multivitamin liquid went down better, although M said she didn’t like it, but R like it and even asked for more!
The liquid contains a balanced range of nine essential vitamins to help maintain healthy immune defences, mental performances, energy release, blood formation, skin and bones and teeth.
Do you give your children vitamins?
For the purpose of this review we were sent the above products free of charge from Haliborange. All views and opinions are 100% my own.

I have always given my children supplements. I am a big fan. I add the liquid ones to water or a cup of milk or juice for the older children. The ones they don't like are the fish oils that actually taste of fish.
