How smart are your clothes?

July 13, 2016

Fashion for men isn’t a topic that I cover very often on my blog. I usually talk about it in the run up to a special occasion such as Fathers Day or perhaps my husbands birthday.

Having said that, fashion is something I take a keen interest in. I love the way my husband dresses. It’s casual, like my own personal style, yet comfortable and on trend.
On the odd occasion though we are required to ‘dress up’ and opt for something a bit smarter. The thing is my wardrobe isn’t very ‘smart’. It consists of three pairs of blue jeans, which I might add are all the same! I loved the fit and style so much that I bought three pairs in the same colour!
I also have two pairs of black bootcut jeans which I think have been worn only a handful of times!
Then I have some cardigans, vest tops and some summer dresses. The only smart clothes I own are is rather mumsy looking dress and a pretty cover up.
My husband is much the same as me. His wardrobe consists of jeans and t-shirts of the same brand! The only smart clothes he owns is the suit that we wore when we got married!
Having searched around the internet we came across a men’s clothing brand called Noose and Monkey. Although not the most obvious name for a clothing company, I have to say that the clothes they sell are pretty eye catching.

A mixture of colours and styles, but at the same time they all very smart to look at. If my husband were to start dressing smart for any occasion I can totally see him wearing something like the tartan suit! I think it’d really suit him!
All too often people think that smart clothes are boring. Whether it be a white shirt or a black jacket, perhaps a grey dress or a pencil skirt, yet Noose and Monkey have proven otherwise!
What’s your go to smart outfit?
