Is this your first blogging conference?
This will be my second. My first was BritMums last year.
Are you attending both days?
Yes and I can’t wait! Last year was amazing!
What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2015?
Learning lots of new things and meeting lots more bloggers than I did last year and learning lots of new things. Last year I went to as many sessions and talks as I could and will be doing pretty much the same thing again this year! I intend to make the most of my time there!

What are you wearing?
Probably something simple and comfortable. Jeans and a cami top the first day with flat shoes. I’ll bring a cover up with me also, but it does get quite warm inside the Brewery so I probably won’t need it! The second day will be much the same!
What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2015?
I’d love to learn more about how to improve my writing skills and also learn a bit more about social media. I know quite a bit about it already, but would like to learn more about SEO etc.
I’m looking forward to meeting the brands and listening to the keynotes.
One thing I’m planning on doing this year is going to the sessions about writing your own book as that’s always been a dream of mine.
Do you have any tips to pass on to others who may not have been before?
  • Wear something comfortable. Flat shoes are a must as you’ll be doing a lot of walking!
  • Check out the agenda before you arrive and write down any sessions that you want to go to so you don’t forget!
  • Allow yourself plenty of time for travelling to and from the venue/hotel, just in case you get lost!
  • Bring headache tablets with you just in case you need them.
  • Bring some snacks for the journey as well as something to drink.
  • Pack light and bring a spare bag for all the freebies you’ll be bringing home! Last year I had a suitcase that I pulled behind me, but it didn’t cope well with the cobbled streets of London so I ended up carrying it a lot which wasn’t good as it was quite heavy! I’ll be bringing a backpack this year!
  • You can check your bags in the Brewery cloakroom if you haven’t had time to check into your hotel.
  • Make the most of it and have fun!

I started Twin Mummy and Daddy in 2012.  

Over time Twin Mummy and Daddy has gone from strength to strength. I write about our family life, my love for running and our passion for adventure and travel.  

We’ve also started living a more eco-friendly life. As such I also write about our zero waste journey in a bid to encourage others to think about the impact they have on the environment.

I’m a keen runner and in April 2019 I ran the London Marathon for an amazing charity called WellChild. It’s one of my biggest achievements to date. I raised over £2,000 for the charity and learnt so much along the way.

This year we’re passionate about spending time outdoors. We’ll be sharing our travel, days out and camping adventures right here on Twin Mummy and Daddy.

    Ooh it's so nice when you have a good idea of what you want to attend (e.g. the writing sessions) as it can be so hard to decide sometimes. I hope the sessions inspire you to grab hold of that dream and make it a reality!!
