Ocean Fairy Homes Challenge

October 12, 2015

Ocean Finance recently challenged a number of bloggers to take part in a campaign to create a bespoke fairy garden home.

As a mum of twin girls I knew this would be a challenge I couldn’t turn down! I love the innocence and magic that being a child can have so when I told my girls that some fairies would be leaving us some things to create a magical garden for them, they were both super excited!

We were given £40 to spend and I think we spent it pretty wisely. Being a keen gardener I already had a patio pot that I could use along with some earth so all we needed to do was buy our fairy  furniture and accessories.

Ocean Finance recommended a fabulous website to me called Fairy Gardens UK. They’re so fabulous that I even spent my own money with them to buy a fairy garden kit for my niece’s third birthday! Go check them out!

After browsing their website this is what I ordered:

The large starter kit comes with a fairy, but as I have twins I thought it wise to buy another so that our girls could have one each!
Here’s how we got on.
Collecting stones for the fairy garden

What do you think? Why don’t you give it a go and make your own fairy garden too!

Awww this is so cute. I love this little fairy garden. My boys wouldn't be interested in making on as they are both boys, the eldest is at the stage where he will do nothing girly at all. I love it though. Thank you for linking up with #anythinggoes
