Princess Elsa Frozen Costume Review

October 19, 2014
I think my family and I have been a little late to join the ‘Frozen bandwagon’, but we’ve finally made it! We first watched Frozen a few weeks ago and have been hooked ever since!
Now that our twins no longer sleep in the day, we’ve taken to watching Frozen in lieu of their nap….every day! I’m not bored of it yet and neither are my husband or our twins! In fact I think my husband may be enjoying it more than the rest of us!
R and M enjoy pretend play. We pretend to be doctors and chefs, but we are yet to buy them any ‘dress up’ clothes, although the thought had crossed my mind not so long ago.
When Otley Run Fancy Dress gave us the opportunity to review two Frozen Elsa and Anna Costumes we were happy to accept!

The dresses are available in five sizes:

Ages 2-3 Years – Child’s Height: 100cm
Ages 3-4 Years – Child’s Height: 110cm
Ages 5-6 Years – Child’s Height: 120cm
Ages 7-8 Years – Child’s Height: 130cm
Ages 9-10 Years – Child’s Height: 140cm
Our girls will be three in February so I chose ages 3-4 years and they’re a perfect fit. I was a bit concerned when first putting the dresses on over the girls head as the top part is made of netting so it doesn’t stretch and I did wonder whether I’d be able to get them over their heads, but it did!
The dresses are great quality and come with a pendant on the front with Elsa’s picture on. The sleeves and a section of the top piece that runs all the way around to the back of the dress are made of netting.

Around the middle of the dress runs a sparkly, silver ‘v’ shaped waistband that helps to define the shape of the dress.

I absolutely love the cape that is attached to the dress! It’s made of a shimmery blue, see through material which is decorated with different shaped snowflakes of various sizes. R and M love the cape especially when they pull them over their faces like veils!

The length of the dress is just right. It’s floor length, but not too long that is risks being tripped over, plus the skirt allows plenty of room for movement which is great when all our twins want to is dance and jump around whilst singing all the songs to Frozen!
I think for £18.99 this dress is great value for money and I would recommend them.

For the purpose of this review we were sent two Princess Elsa dresses free of charge. The opinions and views expressed in this post are 100% my own.
