Snapfish Valentine’s Day Gift Review

February 8, 2016
Snapfish is one of my favourite online digital photo printing services. I worked with them back in May 2015 to review one of their canvases for Father’s Day and I’m pleased to be able to work with them again.

Aside from working with Snapfish via my blog I also use them a lot to order prints. I have numerous photo albums of our family adventures and their mobile app is so easy to use.

Moving on and with Valentine’s Day lurking around the corner I was invited to create some personalised photo gifts using Snapfish.

They have a great range of personalised gifts including beautiful photobooks and canvases, quirky mugs, fun keyrings, cushions and even mobile phone cases. Did you know that you can even order
personalised cards from them?

Each product is unique and I couldn’t wait to browse the range! I decided to order a personalised card for my husband for Valentine’s day. After looking through the available photo cards I chose the Simple XOXO photo card. Prices start from just £2.49.

I love the layout of this card because it means I can add three photos to the front of the card and one to the back, as well as a personalised message inside and again to the back of the card.

Creating the photo card online was quick and easy. Simply upload your photos and place them where you want them to go. I like that if your photo isn’t good enough quality you’re made aware of this so that you can choose a better quality card. All of the pictures I used were taken using my DSLR camera and the quality was good enough for them to be used. Some of the photos I’d taken on my iPhone weren’t good enough quality so that’s something to bear in mind.

When the card arrived I was very happy with it. The photos look great and it’s a great quality card. The inside and outside of the card has a matt finish.

The next product I chose was a photo keyring. My husband and I have lots of photos of the four of us, but I thought it would be nice to get one gift that’s just got the two of us on.

A keyring seemed like the perfect idea. My husband has lots of keys so I thought a keyring would be a welcome addition. For just £2.99 you can choose a photo to go on the keyring which is featured on both sides of the durable acrylic keyring.

Creating the keyring online was just as easy as the photo card and used the same process of uploading a picture or choosing an existing one if you already have some uploaded. When the keyring arrived I was very pleased with the quality. The photo was easy to see and it the keyring itself does feel very durable. The photo I used for the keyring was one taken using my iPhone.

The last product I chose was a personalised photo cushion. There are two sizes available, 11×11 which costs £19.99, or 17×17 which costs £24.99. I opted for the 11×11 one. The photo I chose for the cushion is one of my favourites of our girls and it looks superb on the cushion. The quality and clarity of the picture printed on the material is amazing. I was worried it might be blurry or pixelated, but it’s fantastic. I took this picture using my DSLR camera.

The front of the cushion is made from heavyweight fabric with a canvas feel. The reverse is made from soft faux suede in a ‘fawn’ colour. There’s also a hidden zip to remove the filler if needed.
Creating the cushion online was super easy again and I liked that I was told if my picture was good enough quality.

Overall, I’m very happy with all of the above products. I think they’re all excellent quality and great value for money.
For the purpose of this review I was sent the above items free of charge. All views and opinions are 100% my own.

I've never used Snapfish but have used similar services for Baby Announcements, Christmas Cards, and gifts for the Grandparents. The keyring was an excellent idea. I loved the image and it's important to have a few images with both of you on it.
