Style Feature: Women’s Coats
It’s that time of year where we have to dig deep into the back of our wardrobes to find our winter coats. If you’re like me and like to save money then you’ll keep the same coat year after year, until it absolutely needs to be replaced! However, sometime it’s nice to treat yourself to something new and a warm, cosy winter coat would certainly be a nice treat!
When it comes to clothes, I’m quite picky so I like to think about what I want from my clothes before I go out and buy. If I don’t I usually end up spending far too much money and never actually wear anything that I’ve bought!
I like coats that are quite long in length, but not too long. I’d say just past the waist is the perfect length for me. I’m not a fan of umbrellas so I also like my coats to have a hood and if it has one of those velcro fastenings in the front to help keep them up then as a mum, that’s an added bonus because it means I can hold onto my twins hands without worrying about my hood blowing down and my hair and face getting soaked!
I’ve always preferred online shopping when it comes to buying certain things and coats are one of those things I prefer to buy online. I’ve previously bought clothes from online companies such as M and M Direct because I know what I order will be just like what it looks like on their website.
There’s nothing worse than ordering something online only for it to look different to what you had viewed online!
Here are a few of my favourite styles of coats for women.
As you can see each coat has a hood and looks warm enough for the colder month. I like coats with zips as oppose to buttons just because it’s quicker. I tend to wear dark colours so black, deep purple and brown and often colours that I’d go for.
When it comes to my twin girls though I tend to go the opposite way and buy them nice bright coats!
