Looking after my children’s hair can be tricky at times. Our twin girls have very different hair types. M’s hair is quite fine, very straight and very easy to look after. It hardly ever gets knotted. R’s hair on the other hand is the complete opposite. She has curls, it’s quite thick and it gets very tangled and knotty. Brushing it can be a nightmare, even washing it actually as she’s not keen on that either!
When the lovely people over at Vosene offered to send me some products to try out I was keen to give them a try.
We were sent:
Vosene Kids 3-in-1 shampoo
Vosene Kids hair and body wash
Vosene Kids conditioning defence spray
This range is Vosene Kids dedicated back to school range. The 3 in 1 shampoo and the conditioning defence spray are both designed to gently cleanse and condition young children’s hair, while also protecting against headlice. The added benefit, it even smells great too!
R was pretty excited to try them as you can see below!
The first product we tried was the 3-in-1 shampoo. I usually use my own shampoo on the kids so it was actually nice to try a product specifically designed for kids. It certainly smells better than my shampoo and both R and M loved the smell too. It smells fresh and clean with a hint of lemon.
The 3-in-1 shampoo is clear in colour and easily develops in a bubbly lather quickly. It gently cleanses and conditions the hair and scalp for naturally shiny, healthy-looking hair. The girls hair both looked shiny and healthy with more body to it than usual. The specially formulated shampoo also contains natural tea tree oil and lemon eucalyptus oil to help prevent head lice when used alongside their conditioning defence spray.
The next product we tried was the hair and body wash which is designed for use after you’ve been swimming. I haven’t used it on the girls hair yet, but have used it on their bodies. Much like the shampoo it smells really good.
It combines the trusted Vosene Kids formula with Aromaguard™ technology to gently clean, moisturise and remove chlorine, salt and other impurities after a visit to the pool. I tried the body wash myself too and it was lovely to smell and left my skin feeling soft afterwards.
The last and final product is the conditioning defence spray. R really didn’t like the smell of this. It does smell quite strong and I’m not sure if I like the smell yet, but M said she likes it!

This leave in conditioner spray helps to detangle and smooth children’s hair. It definitely made the job of brushing R’s hair easier. It usually takes me around five to ten minutes to get the knots out of her, but this was reduced to a maximum of five minutes. What I like about this spray is that it’s clinically proven formula helps to prevent head lice, using natural ingredients such as citronella and tea tree oil.
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed these products and I’d definitely use them again.
For the purpose of this review I was sent the above products. All views and opinions are 100% my own.

Ive never used the kids range (yet!) but hubby uses the normal one all the time, and when I first got pregnant regular shampoo made my hair very dull and greasy so I started using it too and it worked wonders!

A great brush to use with detangler is the tangle teezer. My hair gets very knotty and its the only brush i will allow near my hair x
