What we did this week

To be honest with you, it doesn’t feel like we have done much this week!

On Sunday my mother-in-law came over for dinner and the girls played snakes and ladders with her, and did puzzles together. It was lovely to watch them together! The girls played on the trampoline in the garden, as did I! 

I went to work Monday, and then again on Tuesday. I also went to spin class straight from work on Tuesday. I’m really enjoying the classes, but I really need to work on my diet. 

That’s one of the reasons why this week I’ve tried to do a bit of meal planning. If I know what I’m eating each day, I’m hoping that’ll help me cut out the takeaways! 
On Wednesday I had my first ever manicure! My friends bought me a voucher for my birthday!

I also took the girls to one of their friends houses for tea which was really nice. I don’t the girls wanted to leave as we didn’t get home until bedtime! I did learn something from our visit, and that’s that the girls love Shopkins! 

They’d talked about them before as they’ve watched some of the videos on You Tube Kids, but I was surprised by how much they know about Shopkins! 

Their birthday is next month and I managed to buy a big bundle of over 70 shopkins, and two playsets for just £28! They’ll be pleased when they see them!

On Thursday I went to spin class whilst the girls were in school, and I spent most of Friday taking pictures of review items. It always amazes me how much time this takes up! 

Today, we’re meeting my sister and her children at a soft play centre and then I’m hoping that when we come home, we’ll attempt to make a rocket out of this lot!
